I arrived at Dr. McCann’s office in November 2025 broken-hearted, breathless, and feeling hopeless. In June of last year, I had been diagnosed with a lung disease and a connective tissue disorder. After months of heavy medication and rehabilitation, my health remained in limbo. The constant fluctuations left me uncomfortable, depressed, lethargic, and melancholy.
It was not until a visit with Dr. McCann, along with the assistance and prayers from Yamira, that things began to change. Slowly, my health, hope, and happiness started to return. I suddenly began to feel better my strength and confidence grew like a ray of sunshine breaking through the clouds.
I can honestly say that the care and pride Dr. McCann puts into his practice is incomparable. I am deeply thankful for all that he and his team do. Being in this office feels like being touched by something truly anointed. I truly believe the Creator was working through Dr. McCann.

What a difference in my quality of life! I have been in treatment for almost two years. When I started with Dr. McCann's office I had chronic pain in my neck, arms, and shoulders. My physical abilities were limited. My lower back and legs were beginning to worsen as well. I had always been a healthy active person who loved to moving and being outdoors. My physical pain was beginning to impact my ability and motivation to do everything. I just felt like sitting on the couch with ice packs. I was becoming irritable and depressed. From my first visit, I felt welcome and cared for. Dr. McCann and his staff gave me a thorough eval in a timely manner as well as some adjustments, treatment and exercise ideas for some immediate relief. I have to be honest, it was scary to commit to a long-term treatment and financial plan. However, I had been living with worsening chronic pain for years and had tried several more invasive procedures (covered by insurance) that didn't correct the problems. In summary, Dr. McCann's treatment did! I currently am on my own self-directed maintenance plan which is a visit 1 to 2 times a month. The financial investment in one's quality of life is worth it! I have been with this practice for about a year now. When I first came in, I was very sick. I was experiencing severe tension and pain in my neck, shoulders, and lower back. I had constant brain fog, daily headaches, difficulty concentrating, and problems with my memory. It was a very hard year trying to recover.
Today, I feel so much better. I still have occasional shoulder pain and some tension in my back from time to time, but I am able to live a normal life again. I can enjoy physical activities like skiing and biking. I am able to travel by plane and handle long car rides with minimal pain. My mind feels clear, and my memory has significantly improved. I no longer forget simple things, like why I opened the refrigerator.
The entire practice has been incredibly supportive. They have accommodated me for emergency visits whenever I needed them. The doctor always listens carefully and pays attention to my concerns. Yamira has been especially kind and responsive — she even prayed for me when I was feeling hopeless and crying in pain.

My pastor once explained faith in a way that truly stayed with me: faith is not only believing in the promise, but also trusting in the One who made it. It means asking, Is He able to fulfill His promise? And will He follow through? God is all-powerful, and He is more than able to do what He says. He is also unchanging and faithful to His Word. Trusting Him is the safest path any of us can take.
I was led to Dr. James McCann and his incredible team during a very difficult time in my life. For six years, I struggled with mobility issues. From our very first session, Dr. McCann was able to clearly identify both the cause and the path toward treatment. The results were remarkable; I walked into the office using a walker and left walking unassisted.

The best thing that happened to me was the day I first met you in the Ingelside Mall where you were doing a meet and greet you picked me out of the crowd as you noticed the way I was walking and called me over and asked me if I was in pain or had a back problem. I had been under the care of a hospital rehab program and was wearing an electric belt that shot a small electrical jolt to my back I had worn it for years to no effect I came to your office for a visit and started a program that cured the pain and has been with you now for over 18 years once a month now where it was once a week for a few months and then to once a month and has never felt better as to pain in my back since then.
